Quotes, Segments, Thoughts, Essence

These are some things I've jotted down over time.

"We can live and die for the same two reasons. For me, that's the known and the unknown. I would die out of curiosity for the unknown, and live out of curiosity for what I would have missed if I'd died. Or I would live for the fear of missing known probabilities or die for certainty of avoiding other distinct, upcoming events. Or even live or die for what I truly believe is, or isn't, going to happen."

"Maybe. We don't know till we get there, and it may just pass us by as we sit in this moment, contemplating what could be."

"There's no point in fearing the unknown. Either way, living or dead, we continuously approach it or otherwise sit smack in the middle of it. What is ever truly known about the future?"

"Most people, I'm aware, don't look at it this way. Oh well. If they did, there would be so big of a hassle regarding fear of the unknown, and religion."

"The art of making connections is man's greatest weakness and strength."

"If you look hard enough, you will see it."

"We need to take advantage of the point of evolution of moral standards and discovered philosophies and constantly work to evolve what is known into what is possible to be learned."

"I wonder if moral conventionality will will eventually form a perfect circle?"

"Everything, we will inevitably realize, is a cycle."

"Love and hate are very similar. They're both extremes, but they're different as one has a negative connotation. Hate and love, however, are not opposites. Apathy is the anti-thesis to love and hatred alike."

"It's easy to die, and much harder to live."

"Live every day so that if you were to die tomorrow, you would feel no remorse."

"Some people become so accustomed to life that it becomes a routine. In that case, you may as well be dead. In the end, your life is is whatever you decide it was."

"Don't expect people to change, but don't assume they won't."

"Know yourself before you try to know others, because if you don't, you will truly know nobody."

"We only become sad when we learn that there's a reason to do so."

"Today we dread waiting, and tomorrow we dread having waited."
